Le chalet existant, construit en 1945, a subi de nombreux agrandissement et transformations au cours du temps, le dénaturant profondément. L'enjeux du projet consistait donc à remplacer cette bâtisse par une nouvelle construction respectant l'identité rurale du lieu et de l'existant.
